Right Now Group are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Colnbrook. This role is essential to the safe and efficient handling of airfreight and HGV cargo, ensuring goods are loaded, secured, and dispatched with precision and care. The ideal candidate will be confident using computers and digital systems to support warehouse operations.
This role will involve:
- Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Loading, strapping and securing goods onto HGV vehicles in accordance with airfreight standards
- Handling and processing airfreight shipments, ensuring compliance with security and handling protocols
- Using warehouse software and digital systems to manage cargo and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and follow warehouse procedures
- Ensuring punctuality and reliability across all shifts
- Supporting team operations and participate in overtime when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Demonstrating thoroughness and conscientious attention to detail in all tasks

Hourly Rate:
£12.82
Perm Salary:
£30,000
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable employment history (for security clearance purposes)
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licenses
- Proven experience in airfreight handling and HGV loading/strapping
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using warehouse management systems
- Reliable, punctual, and conscientious work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime and adapt to operational needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
