Right Now Group are recruiting for a Road Freight Export Operator on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder based in Ashford, Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing freight forwarder, managing European road freight export shipments from start to finish, covering both dedicated (FTL) and groupage movements.
The successful candidate must be confident handling the full export process independently, including customs formalities and transit documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage European Road Freight Export shipments from start to finish
Handle both Dedicated (FTL) and Groupage export movements
Arrange collections and liaise with hauliers and European partners
Prepare and process export documentation including:
CMR documentation
Customs entries
T1 transit documents
Complete and manage customs clearances accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with UK and EU export regulations
Provide proactive shipment updates to customers
Manage job files and shipment processing via CargoWise
Monitor margins and maintain file profitability
Liaise with overseas agents to ensure smooth delivery
Requirements
Proven experience in Road Freight Export operations (start-finish)
Strong knowledge of customs procedures and T1 documentation
Experience handling both groupage and dedicated movements
CargoWise experience is essential
Strong understanding of European road freight processes
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced forwarding environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
Air Freight Export experience
Sea Freight Export experience

£30,000 - £36,000 salary (DOE)
Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30
