Right Now Group is seeking an experienced Express Agent to join our Express Operations team based at Heathrow Airport.
This role involves overseeing express cargo operations within a secure facility while also performing accurate data capture and administrative duties within our operations office. Full training will be provided across all operational areas.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between customers, airlines, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities of an Express Agent
- Oversee the build-up of courier traffic for aircraft dispatch
- Transfer operational data from paper documents into airline systems
- Notify airlines of final load information
- Liaise with customers and airlines regarding space allocations
- Verify data accuracy against source documentation
- Receive and process deliveries for express products
- Sort, scan, and organise paperwork to ensure completeness
- Assist with warehouse operations as required
- Handle import shipment queries from customers and airlines
- Raise irregularity reports where necessary
- Update and maintain the Daily ULD Report
- Work independently while supporting and guiding a small team
Salary:
£30,000 per annum
Shift:
4 on 4 off
Hours:
10:00 to 22:00
Requirements
- Knowledge of the airline cargo industry
- Previous experience as a data entry clerk within the airline industry
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong customer service and telephone skills
- Ability to manage and support a small team
- Five years' traceable employment and education history
- Ability to provide a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for secure facility clearance
