Are you a PMO Administrator, PMO Analyst, or Project Planner with experience in manufacturing or product development? We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Project Planner to join our clients project delivery team. This critical role ensures that all projects are supported by structured, realistic, and high-quality plans, enabling confident forecasting, resource management, and informed decision-making.

You will collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and senior stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensure planning data accuracy, and provide insights that support performance monitoring and reporting.

Position: Full-Time - Permanent

Salary: £40k-£60k + Bonus

Location: Guildford Office - Hybrid Working - 2 days WFH

Key Responsibilities of a Project Planner:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules in alignment with business goals and planning standards.
  • Produce and manage key planning documentation, such as product breakdown structures, work breakdown structures, cost breakdown structures, schedule management plans, and stage plans.
  • Estimate resources, time, and costs in early project phases, aiding the development of business cases.
  • Ensure planning data is consistently and accurately integrated into all key project documents.
  • Use Power BI to analyse and visualise project data, supporting reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Manage changes to baselined schedules using formal change control processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent project data for reporting purposes.

What We're Looking For in a Project Planner:

  • Proven experience in a PMO Administrator, PMO Analyst, or Project Planner role within a manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Strong understanding of structured planning principles and documentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in planning tools and experience with Power BI for analysing and visualising project data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
