This temporary position offers a strong potential for a permanent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have solid air export experience looking to further develop their export career within a fast-paced international environment.

Location: Staines
Pay Rate: 16.41 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday standard office hours 37.5
Start: Immediate starts available
Key Responsibilities - Air Import Operator
- Manage end-to-end air import shipments from booking through to final departure
- Prepare and process import documentation including Air Waybills (AWBs), customs entries, and shipping instructions
- Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and handling agents to ensure smooth Import movement
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and aviation security standards
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any operational delays
- Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate data across internal systems
The Successful Air Import Operator Will Have
- Proven experience within air import operations or freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of air freight documentation and customs/import procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced import environment
- Experience using logistics systems
