Right Now Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client, a cargo ground handler at Heathrow!
The role is working within a dynamic and busy warehouse environment alongside the client's airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world!
Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:
- Loading and unloading vehicles carrying a variety of cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as performing some manual handling.
- You will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
- Process paperwork in accordance with our clients' requirements.
- Handling special cargo products
- Building and breaking pallets
- Manual handling
- Screening cargo
- Preparing and palletising cargo as needed.
Skills required to be a Warehouse Operative
- Forklift Licence (counterbalance or reach) is essential.
- Promote Health & Safety to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Able to travel to Feltham and Heathrow
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- We will need to be able to complete Pre-employment checks. This will include a 5-year checkable employment / education history, DBS check (criminal record check)
Additional Information: Warehouse Operative
- Location: Feltham /Heathrow
- Shifts: You will be required to work a shift pattern consisting of 4 on 4 off. This will be a mixture of days and nights in the following format:
- Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 (2 days) / 19:00 - 07:00 (2 nights)
- Salary: £27,940- £29,260
- Bonus: £1200 Attendance Bonus paid end of the year
