Warehouse Operative
Right Now Group is currently recruiting for a number of part-time Warehouse Operatives for a large global parcel company based at East Midlands Airport (DE74).
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided for this role.
Part-Time Shift Pattern:
- Sunday 20:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Tuesday 01:30 AM - 05:15 AM
- Wednesday 01:30 AM - 05:15 AM
- Thursday 01:30 AM - 05:15 AM
- Friday 01:30 AM - 05:15 AM
We are offering full or part week working shifts, so please advise your consultant, what role you are interested in.

Please note - you will only be able to start once we've completed your 5-year employment and/or education history. Therefore, no immediate start is available.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive:

Hourly rate:
- £13.50 - £15.00 (based on length of service)
Duties of a Warehouse Operative will include:
- Working in a busy Warehouse Environment.
- Loading and Unloading Parcels onto X-Ray machines, Conveyor belts, and Vehicles.
- Using a hand-held scanners to scan parcels as they travel through the facility.
- Adhering to Health and Safety legislation at all times.
- This position will involve repetitive manual lifting and some parcels could weigh anything up to 25kg, so it is essential that you have a good level of fitness.
The successful Warehouse Operative you will need:
- Safety Boots / Steel Toe capped boots. (You will need to provide these)
- 5-year check-able work history, ideally based in the UK.
- DBS dated in the last 26 weeks or a new DBS (Criminal Record check) to be applied for by Right Now Group, paid for by yourself in advance, and must not show any disqualifying criminal convictions.
- Aviation Security Training (Cargo Operative Training) to be completed prior to starting this will be administered by Right Now Group and paid for by yourself in advance .
The cost of your DBS check and CO training will be payable in advance.

Limited Company contractors
If you are a Limited Company contractor, you can 'opt out' of the regulations. Whilst the regulations have been conceived to ensure greater legislative protection for candidates, there may be issues which conflict with the spirit of the IR35 rules.
Opting out of the regulations will have benefits if you decide that you want to be considered self-employed. This will mean you will not be afforded the same protection as that of our PAYE workers but does bring you a step closer to being seen as genuinely self-employed and therefore could be viewed as outside the scope of the IR35 tax rules. If you wish to opt-out, you need to do so before your contract starts. To do this, please inform your consultant and sign and return the EAA opt-out form. Please note if we do not receive your signed form then your opt-out will be invalid.
