Job Title: Trainee Sales Executive

Salary: Starting salary 24,000 + Commission

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00

Location: Ewelme

Please note: A full UK drivers license is required for this role.

Role Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of SME customers using tailored solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, delivering exceptional service and building strong long-term relationships.
  • Provide expert advice on waste legislation, innovations, and environmental best practices.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and support sales initiatives to grow revenue within your portfolio.
  • Carry out regular service reviews to ensure contracts remain commercially viable and operationally effective.
  • Generate new appointments and support the wider sales team with leads and insights.
  • Liaise with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Resolve contractual or service-related issues promptly, maintaining client satisfaction.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in account management, sales, business development or upselling.
  • Previous experience in the waste management or environmental services industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to analyse contract profitability and service value.
  • Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to multitask across clients.
