Key Responsibilities of a Freight Pricing Coordinator
- Maintain and update pricing databases with current rates, tariffs and relevant information.
- Support with quoting and costing efforts to determine accurate pricing for various freight forwarding services and mainly targeting shipments by AIR, ROAD and SEA
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to pricing activities.
- Liaising with airlines, carriers, handling agents & customers daily.
- You will also be taught how to carry out the IMPORTS process of shipments.
Desirable for the ideal Freight Pricing Coordinator
- Have an interest in working within Freight Forwarding
- Excellent Communication and customer service skills - you will be required to communicate with clients and suppliers over email and telephone.
- Display a hungry and flexible attitude
- Motivated to learn and develop
- Quick problem solving skills and a high attention to detail.
Other Details:
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
Hybrid working once passed probation
Location: Egham
