Overview:
Right Now Group are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to manage both export and import enquiries for a client base of freight forwarders. The role focuses on providing quotes, handling out-of-gauge shipments, and negotiating competitive rates with airlines to secure business and maximise profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to export and import rate enquiries from freight forwarders via telephone and email
- Prepare accurate quotes and manage out-of-gauge shipment requests
- Negotiate competitive rates with airlines and overseas partners
- Secure business and maximise profits
- Provide timely responses to customer enquiries
- Work to a high level of accuracy
- Deliver exceptional customer support
- Visit key customers as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous Air Freight experience - Essential
- Experience working with freight forwarders and airline partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to perform under pressure
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal skills
What's On Offer:
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
- Shift: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
