Sales Executive - Perishable Freight
💰 £30,000-£40,000 + Commission + Car Allowance
🌍 Heathrow / Hybrid - Shift: 9am-5.30pm (MON-FRI)
We're looking for a motivated Freight Operations professional ready to take the next step into Sales and Business Development within the fast-paced world of perishable logistics.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3-5 years' experience in freight forwarding who's passionate about building relationships, understanding customer needs, and developing into a true commercial role.
Responsibilities of a Sales Executive:
Support the Senior Business Development team in identifying and pursuing new perishable freight opportunities
Manage day-to-day customer communication and assist in preparing quotes and proposals
Learn and contribute to pricing strategy, customer presentations, and account development
Build knowledge of perishable supply chains across air, ocean, and road freight
Collaborate closely with operations to ensure smooth delivery of perishable shipments
Attend client visits and industry events as you develop your sales career
Requirements of a Sales Executive:
3-5 years' experience in freight forwarding (air/ocean/road), ideally within perishable or temperature-controlled operations
Strong operational understanding and desire to transition into a commercial role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confidence, ambition, and willingness to learn from experienced sales leaders
Self-motivated with the ability to build long-term relationships
