We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Courier to join our client.

IMPORTANT: Full UK driving licence required and you must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes

As a Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of documents to clients and Embassies. You will also manage payments, maintain records, and ensure the company vehicle is kept in top condition.

Weekly Hours: 8:30 - 5:00pm

Key responsibilities of a courier

  • Collect daily duties from the office, including run sheets, documents, and payment methods.
  • Deliver documents promptly and securely to clients and Embassies.
  • Collect documents from clients and Embassies while following all time and security requirements.
  • Handle payments on behalf of the company via card, cheque, or cash.
  • Keep accurate records of collections, deliveries, and payments.
  • Track documents in real time using the QR code system.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and Embassies.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean, report any damage, and arrange maintenance as needed.
  • Communicate with the Line Manager throughout the day to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the business with additional tasks as requested by Management.

Desirable skills of courier

  • Previous driving experience in a professional setting (delivery, courier, taxi, or logistics).
  • Familiarity with navigation tools (GPS, Google Maps, or delivery tracking apps).
  • Basic cash handling experience or familiarity with card/cheque transactions.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Good organisational skills - keeping accurate records of deliveries and payments.
  • Attention to detail - ensuring all documents and parcels are handled correctly.
  • Reliability and punctuality - consistently showing up on time.
  • Ability to work independently.
