Cargo Agent

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Cargo Agent to join a large and established cargo ground handler based in Feltham, Heathrow.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced cargo office environment, working alongside airline partners, warehouse teams and drivers to ensure international air cargo is processed accurately and moves safely and securely around the world.

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with strong communication and administration skills looking to develop a career within the aviation and air cargo industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update consignment records accurately across airline computer systems.

• Separate, process and distribute cargo documentation in accordance with individual airline requirements.

• Assist customers collecting cargo, including processing applicable charges and payments.

• Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and provide customers with accurate information.

• Liaise closely with warehouse teams and drivers to support the efficient movement and release of cargo.

• Check Dangerous Goods documentation in accordance with IATA requirements and complete relevant AVI checks.

The Successful Candidate

• Strong communication skills with the confidence to communicate professionally by telephone, email and in person.

• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn and operate a variety of airline and cargo systems.

• Previous office, administration, customer service or cargo experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Fluent written and spoken English with good attention to detail.

• Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.

• Able to complete a 5-year checkable employment/education history and DBS check.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £30,000 - £31,000, depending on experience.

• Based in Feltham, Heathrow.

• 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern.

• 2 days: 07:00 - 19:00 followed by 2 nights: 19:00 - 07:00.

• Annual attendance bonus.
