Right Now Group is recruiting for an experienced Air Import Clerk to join a well-established freight forwarding operation based near London Heathrow. This role is ideal for someone with strong air import experience who is confident managing shipments in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handling air import consignments from start to finish
Completing customs entries accurately and independently
Cutting MAWB and HAWB documentation
Processing and booking in pre-alerts from overseas agents
Liaising with customers to obtain clearance instructions and documentation
Coordinating with airlines, handlers, and internal teams
Ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements
Maintaining accurate shipment records and system updates
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in air freight imports
Proven experience handling air consignments end to finish
Confident completing customs entries without supervision
Strong knowledge of air freight operations (road freight experience advantageous)
Ability to work effectively in a busy, time-critical environment
5-year checkable employment history
Clean DBS
Additional Information
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location: Feltham / London Heathrow
Permanent, full-time position
