Right Now Group are looking for an Air Export Operator to join our client in the Feltham Area. Our client are a dynamic and rapidly growing logistics firm specialising in global freight forwarding and supply chain solutions.

The Air Export Operator will have a strong background in Air freight logistics, particularly in Export operations. This role requires expertise in coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Responsibilities of a Air Freight Export Operator:

  • Manage end-to-end Export processes for Air freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Managing several Key Account to facilitate the clients Air Freight Export Movements
  • Coordinate with international suppliers, airline carriers, and agents to secure bookings and negotiate freight rates.
  • Prepare and review export documents
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and other government agencies requirements.
  • Handle shipment discrepancies and resolve any issues related to customs clearance or delivery delays.
  • Must be able to complete Air Freight Entries.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and distribution teams to optimise logistics and inventory management.

The Successful Air Freight Export Operator:

  • Proven experience in Air Freight Exports, with a strong understanding of international shipping procedures and regulations.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance processes and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Experience using Boxtop & ASM Sequoia / CDS would be ideal.

Additional information for this role

Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)

Office based (Option of Hybrid available too)
