Right Now Group are recruiting for an experienced Air Export Operator to join our client, a well-established freight forwarding and logistics business based in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, customer-focused environment, managing air export shipments from start to finish, including documentation and coordination, while delivering high service levels to key customers.
Key Responsibilities - Air Export Operator
Manage air export shipments from booking through to final departure
Liaise with customers, overseas agents, airlines, and internal teams via email and telephone
Receive and process bookings from clients and agents
Make airline bookings and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely movement of freight
Prepare and complete all operational and administrative export documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
Ensure compliance with customs and export regulatory requirements
Operate company systems, including CargoWise, ensuring data accuracy at all times
Generate sales invoices accurately and process costs, accruals, and purchase invoices
Manage non-conformities promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and shipment integrity
Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including aviation security and Dangerous Goods (where applicable)
Support the wider operations team in achieving daily KPIs and service-level targets
Provide holiday and absence cover when required
Skills and Experience Required - Air Export Operator
Minimum 2 years' experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding environment
Strong understanding of air export procedures, customs processes, and documentation requirements
Experience using CargoWise or a similar freight forwarding system
Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and pharmaceutical freight advantageous
Dangerous Goods knowledge or certification beneficial
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
High attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
What's on Offer - Air Export Operator
Salary: €45,000 - €52,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
