Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an Air Export Coordinator to join a leading global freight forwarder based around London Heathrow.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Air Export experience, particularly within perishable, temperature-sensitive or time-critical freight.
You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring everything is booked, documented and customs compliant, while keeping customers updated throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities of a Air Export Coordinator
- Manage end-to-end air export shipments, from booking through to departure
- Arrange air freight bookings with airlines and vendors, ensuring shipments meet customer deadlines
- Prepare, check and process all relevant export documentation
- Complete customs entries independently, ensuring full compliance with current regulations
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular shipment updates
- Resolve any shipment issues quickly and efficiently
- Handle perishable and temperature-sensitive shipments with the required level of care and urgency
- Liaise with airlines, suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure all systems are kept up to date
Skills & Experience required for a Air Export Coordinator
- Previous experience working within Air Freight / Air Exports
- Experience handling perishable, temperature-sensitive or time-critical cargo is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of export documentation and customs procedures
- Ability to complete customs entries independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using freight systems
Salary & Benefits for a Air Export Coordinator
- Salary: £36,000 - £38,000, depending on experience.
- Shift: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 09;00am -17:30pm
- Location: Felltham/Hounslow
