About Matt
New to the world of recruitment, Matt Surmon joined the Right Now Group team in 2025, and he is quickly learning the ropes of both the recruitment industry and the fast-paced world of Freight and Logistics.
Before joining our team, Matt worked as a Marketing Executive, following his studies in Business and Marketing at UCFB Wembley. Drawn to RNG for the supportive company culture and high-quality training, Matt has thoroughly enjoyed his start and is eager to grow within the team.
Outside of work, Matt boasts a unique sporting memory: serving as a Ball Boy at Wimbledon and taking part in the guard of honour for the Women’s Singles Final featuring Serena Williams. A lifelong sports enthusiast - particularly passionate about football - he currently plays for Abbey Rangers FC.
A devoted foodie with a soft spot for burgers and chips (and an open mind for any meal - especially if it’s free), Matt brings energy, curiosity, and a positive spirit to everything he does.
